Jen's Ely Update • June 2005

Some of these photos were taken last year
but I'm just now getting to updating things :)

This is a photo I took from a canoe when
I was out paddling on Moose Lake
at sunset one beautiful evening.

I could hear loons.

My backyard while my fence was being built around it.

I put in the pea gravel in the yard and am slowly building myself a patio with bricks and pavers I am collecting (mostly for free from people who want to get rid of them). That is my Summer 2005 project :)

View of the fence before the gate was put on...

I put in a little herb garden next to the kitchen door (back porch). It looks better this year, but I don't have photos of i t yet.

Me meeting Pope John Paul II in April of 2004.
The highlight of the year, heck, my life...
and it's still a very prominent memory for me...

At an outdoor Papal Audience at the Vatican.
A man from North Dakota was in front of us
and took our photos then sent them
to us later.

Fishing for bass on Moose Lake
with a friend and his dog.

That was my first Minnesota Bass :)

My artwork displayed in the Napa Store
window during the
Voyaguer Winter Festival's Art Walk.

Check out that neat reflection... :)

Another view of the Napa window...

My lovely plastic pink tiled bathroom had seen some better days and began a revolt by jumping off into the tub during showers. The walls needed replacement and some new surround material. I ordered new "green" sheetrock and a decent, fake tile tub surround and my dad did most of the construction. Well, ok, all of it. But it was a small bathroom and there really isn't room for 2 people in it..... :)

This is Harley, the Big Headed Dog and Karma. Harley belongs to my friends and neighbors Megan and James, right across the street from me.

I know the 2 of them planned this out... Karma is not allowed on furniture, unless it's outside, apparently.

Cute dog in backyard :) Wondering how he'll get into his dog house... The Sentinel...

We had a LOT of snow this past winter...

Karma loves snow...
I think we live in the right part of the country :)

It's ALL about Karma...

He's my bud.
