- ISP
(Internet Service Provider) Fees:
If you already have a dial-up account with an ISP for
emailing purposes you can usually upgrade to a "web hosting"
account with that same ISP. This will allow you to store your website
on their servers. Often they waive the set-up fee if you are upgrading
services.

- Domain
Name Registration and Fees:
When you (or your ISP or web designer) register a domain
name, the owner reserves that name for a minimum of 1 year at a time.
Average cost for a "dot com" domain name is $35 per
year and you can subscribe for 1, 2 or more years at once. If you subscribe
for more than 1 year, you can receive a discounted rate.
- Web
Design Costs:
Design costs vary depending on the variables of each
site, such as the number of images, links, tables and pages, whether
or not your site will include submitable forms or order forms, or need
special scripting for things such as roll-over buttons or pop-up windows...

- Extra
Fees:
If you plan to have an on-line store and take orders
over the Internet, you will want to have a "secure site" so
that your customers feel safe submitting their billing information.
In addition to the above mentioned fees in the ISP information chart,
you will also need to arrange for a Secure Site Verisign Certificate.
